Our mission: to unlock nature

At Campanyon, what gets us out of our sleeping bags each morning isn't just coffee - though we won't say no to a freshly brewed cup sipped while taking in a million-dollar view in nature. But truly, the best part of It’s the opportunity we have to make nature accessible to anyone. We believe we offer a space where our community of campers and hosts can create meaningful connections with each other, explore their surroundings with uninhibited curiosity and joy, and share and protect the nature that we all love. We're convinced that incredible adventures start with local, sustainable, authentic, and easy travel opportunities. We hope that this space represents that for you, too. Our vision for nature

The unfortunate truth is that we exist in a world where actions are oftentimes inadequate with regard to the current state of our planet. We're deeply committed to supporting sustainable initiatives that protect it. Why? Because we believe in the power of nature to bring out the best in all of us: Potential, strong will, openness, solidarity, and empathy. By casting light on the efforts and dedication of our community, we dare to inspire everyone to become nature's best companion. Buddies for life, right?

All for 1, 1% for the planet

Campanyon proudly contributes to the1% for the Planet program, initiated by Patagonia-founder Yvon Chouinard and the owner of Blue Ribbon Flies, Craig Matthews. Long story short, the program ensures that nature - as we all know and love today - will stick around for the enjoyment of future generations. Through our contribution of giving 1% of our revenue to the program, we provide direct financial support to domestic and international organizations that are fighting on a daily basis for our best companion. When it comes to environmental protection, we think brands should lead by example in paving the way for more corporate responsibility. It's the least we can do.

Status-quo is not our philosophy. We believe boundaries can - and should - be recreated with insatiable curiosity and exploration. We seek further and dive deeper, using creativity and determination to turn our bold ideas into impactful action. We've left "been there, done that" behind.

Nature is the wisest among us, and yet the most vulnerable. It is our ambition to fiercely protect this valuable resource that we all love and enjoy. Through the awareness, connection, and exploration of our community, we aspire to encourage urgency for action and tangible change towards nature's restoration and preservation.

It's story time

Campanyon was founded in 2020 by two former Google employees and like-minded friends, Kristian and Alexander. Fueled by a mutual passion for the outdoors and nature preservation, both felt existing outdoor accommodations booking options fell short. The idea of a platform that connects nature-lovers to each other and to the outdoors was born. Campanyon uses technology to unlock nature. Through the platform, we encourage exploration, adventure, connection, preservation, and protection. Campanyon is the name, camping + companionship is the game.
